Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
CodeDexters Academy ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your children. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us when you register for programs, book consultations, subscribe to our newsletter, or submit projects. This may include your name, email address, phone number, child's name and age (for Future Tech World programs), and payment information.
For children's programs, we collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our educational services: the child's first name, age, and program enrollment details. We do not collect additional personal data from children.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: process enrollments and registrations, communicate about programs and services, send progress reports (for children's programs), provide customer support, send newsletters and marketing communications (with your consent), improve our services and curriculum, and comply with legal obligations.
We never sell your personal information to third parties. We may share data with trusted service providers who help us operate our platform (such as payment processors and email providers), but only under strict data protection agreements.
3. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption, secure servers, and access controls. Our online classrooms use secure, encrypted connections. All educators and staff undergo data protection training.
Despite our efforts, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your data to the best of our ability.
4. Children's Privacy
CodeDexters Academy takes children's privacy seriously. For Future Tech World programs (ages 5-17):
We require parental consent before collecting any child's personal information. We collect only the minimum data necessary for educational purposes. We do not allow children to create accounts or provide personal information directly. Parents can access, update, or delete their child's data at any time. All online sessions are supervised by trained educators. We do not use children's data for marketing purposes.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to improve your browsing experience, analyze site traffic, and understand how visitors use our site. Cookies are small files stored on your device.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features of our website. We use Google Analytics to understand site usage patterns, which collects anonymous, aggregated data.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your personal data, opt out of marketing communications at any time, and withdraw consent for data processing.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at codedexters@gmail.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
